  1. Dear Eric,
I’m fabulously glad to get your message finally after three months… and it is really encouraging .Please pardon me for giving you a belated reply, all because I would like make a complete and measured response for you. For these two weeks another task distracted me is enrolling in the entrance exams. And today I just finished the procedures for NCCU’s.
After your first quarter began, I presumed you would spend a lot of time getting used to the new surroundings and making new friends, so I decided not to waste your time on typing responses and not to distract you from enjoying exotic freshness. I chose to make comments on what you had posted on your new blog by marking funny, interesting, or cool as a way to keep in touch with you. Have you ever noticed them yet? Please don’t worry. I still kept it a rule to go through your blog at least every two days and choose to be a silent supporter :) But it seems you less and less write about your life…and I think this is because you are assiduous for your learning…
Mrs. Chung announced that our final exam will cover “3” chapters for there are 48 students this year and we have spent too much time correcting everyone’s pronunciation before. (I heard from Viola your class last your only comprised around 35 students.) Doesn’t it sound challenging? Anyway, I have made up my mind to take the second semester’s course. For one thing, I think my pronunciation does make progress and I want to continue it on the way. For the other, I wish I could understand what you are talking about, what you learn overseas and discuss or at least chat with you after you come back (if Fate permits…), instead of the situation in the last semester.

  2. Is your accent tinged with some characteristics of Hindi English? XD I watched the video on your roommate’s facebook and found that another guy seemed to have a more “flat” accent. Does he come from the southern part of the U.S.? Do you study any other foreign language now?
What classes will you take in the next quarter? I have a good news for you. After you come back, classes in the education program are in all probability free, which means you don’t have to pay credits fee anymore^^ It’s a new policy and has been carried out in Tsing Hua Uni.
Il y a de la neige à Devis? I heard from news today that California has been caged in a blizzard. Is this the reason why you stay home? Please take care of yourself…
My last student told me last Saturday that his school will hold a Christmas carols competition this week and they chose a set songs including “Last Christmas.” And then it reminded me of you…just…miss you so much…
    Joyeux Noël et Bonne année!
Have a good time in the next quarter.
Leave me any message if you wish.
